I’m honoured to have written a blog for Sunnybrook’s NICU page, welcoming parents to the beginning of their NICU journey.
If you’re interested in reading the piece, you can find it here:

Again, thank you for the continued support of Adventures with Multiples.
I am going to share this article with my sister-in-law, whose second child is in his third week of a NICU stay. Thank you for all of the encouragement and advice. Do you mind if I ask how far along you were when your twins were delivered? Our first ultrasound, so long ago, lead the doctors to question if our girls were momos. They weren’t, but we still prepared potentially for a very early delivery. We were blessed to cary until induction at 37 1/2 weeks. Mamas of twins, especially identicals, are amazing!
I delivered the girls at 29 weeks with an emergency section. We were scheduled for 32 weeks but the girls went into distress
Thanks. I am glad they have done so well. Tank you for sharing your story!
I had an emergency c section at 29 weeks because the girls were in distress. We were scheduled for 32 weeks, but didn’t quite make it!
