Beginning the NICU journey

I’m honoured to have written a blog for Sunnybrook’s NICU page, welcoming parents to the beginning of their NICU journey.

If you’re interested in reading the piece, you can find it here:

  1. I am going to share this article with my sister-in-law, whose second child is in his third week of a NICU stay. Thank you for all of the encouragement and advice. Do you mind if I ask how far along you were when your twins were delivered? Our first ultrasound, so long ago, lead the doctors to question if our girls were momos. They weren’t, but we still prepared potentially for a very early delivery. We were blessed to cary until induction at 37 1/2 weeks. Mamas of twins, especially identicals, are amazing!
